Two tenants signed U.S. headquarters leases at Interwood Distribution Center, a 341,692-square-foot development by Holt Lunsford Commercial Investments and GID Real Estate Investments at the northeast corner of John F. Kennedy Boulevard and Interwood South Parkway in north Houston. GCP Paper USA leased building two, totaling 235,845 square feet, for its first manufacturing and distribution center in the U.S. Tailift Material Handling USA, a subsidiary of Toyota specializing in small industrial vehicles, leased 37,502 square feet in Building 1. Eric Hughes of Centermark Commercial Real Estate represented GCP Paper, while Craig Bean and John Kruse of Holt Lunsford represented the landlord. Completed in December, the distribution center is now 80 percent leased.
Sparq1200, a graphics and specialty fabricator company, leased a 23,430-square-foot warehouse on 1.6 acres at 515 Milwee St. in northwest Houston for its headquarters. Chicago Pacific Founders purchased the Shores at Clear Lake, a 100-unit senior living community at 19400 Space Center Blvd. Charley Bissell and Brian Carlton of JLL represented the seller, Meridian Realty Advisors. Allison Holland of JLL arranged acquisition financing.
Foxconn Assembly leased 200,200 square feet at the Sam Houston Distribution Center, at 9625 Fallbrook Pines. Brian Gammill, Darryl Noon, Jude Filippone and Carter Thurmond of Transwestern represented the landlord.
Kelsey-Seybold Clinic leased 22,000 square feet at 1900 N. Loop West from Welltower Inc. for a location serving residents of the Greater Heights. Powers Brown Architecture designed the clinic, which will be built out by Gamma Construction on the entire fourth floor. Opening is planned in November. The company’s name will be added to the top of the building.
Banta Corp. renewed and expanded its lease for 201,600 square feet at West by Northwest, at 6315 West by Northwest Blvd. Brian Gammill and Darryl Noon of Transwestern represented the landlord.
Houston-based Lēva Living purchased 16 acres on the east side of West Lake Houston Parkway, south of Atascocita Park, in Humble for a 160-unit single-family rental home development. Chicago-based Brennan Investment Group acquired a 123,800-square-foot portfolio consisting of seven buildings across northwest, southeast and north Houston. Brennan owns 3 million square feet of space in Texas.
