Shockey Berkeley bUsiness Park
Located in Berkeley County, West Virginia, this single-story speculative shell warehouse building was constructed of insulated precast panels, storefront glazing, reveals, two-toned paint, and prefinished, insulated metal dock doors with view lites and full dock packages. Each dock position included a dock seal, dock leveler, dock lock, and equipment control panel with infrastructure at future openings for dock packages. To service the fire protection system for the building, the project featured a conventionally constructed CMU pump house with prefabricated water storage tank. On the interior, convenience outlets were provided throughout and a speculative office space and trucker’s lounge with restrooms are provided. At approximately 2,600 square feet the speculative office space included a break area, restrooms, back-of-house rooms, and infrastructure for future equipment battery charging stations and water lines.
