This project was awarded the 2016 Tilt-Up Achievement Award and the 2016 ENR Rocky Mountain Region Best Award.
Value Plastics is a single-story 115,000 SF medical injection molding manufacturing and office facility, which produces over 4,000 plastic medical tubing components. The facility was constructed utilizing a Thermomass tilt-up concrete exterior wall system. Value Plastics features state of the art manufacturing components and incorporates natural design elements. This includes board form concrete, wood planks set in the form work and the front elevation, as well as, full height glass in the east and west elevations flooding the interior with natural daylight and capitalizing on the breathtaking mountain views.
