Broad-Ocean Motor Houston Plant is a 478,400 SF cross dock warehouse located northwest of Houston, in Waller, TX. It utilizes a 32’ clear height to accommodate highpile storage. Broad-Ocean is a Chinese company focusing on the assembling, testing and distributing of motor systems to air conditioning manufacturers.
There is a 2-story office approximately 25,000 SF located in the southeast corner of the building, overlooking the detention pond. It was important for the office to face south per the philosophical system of feng shui. The labs are located on the first floor for testing motor systems while the general office area is on the second floor. The entries are highlighted with painted horizontal formliner and curtain-wall glazing with vertical buttjoints, giving the entry a streamline look.
