PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Texas Rock Gym is Houston’s original indoor rock climbing facility. The challenge to this design was to create an iconography for the exterior that reflects the kenetic complexity of the interior rock climbing surfaces. The solution is a pre-engineered metal building structure with a billowing metal skin and a pattern of abstract punched openings to allow for natural light into the canyon-like interior.
