Portman closes on land and financing for Gateway 1960 in Houston

Portman announced it has closed on the land and construction loan for Gateway 1960, a three-building, Class-A industrial park encompassing 714,233 square feet in Houston. The closings pave the way for the start of development, which will begin this month. Portman will deliver Gateway 1960 in Q3 2027...

Gateway 1960 includes a 440,323-square-foot cross-dock building, a 157,723-square-foot front-load building and a 116,293-square-foot rear-load building. Each building is designed with flexibility in mind, offering divisible configurations with spec office space, LED lighting and dock-high loading with levelers allowing immediate occupancy. Partners is leading marketing and leasing for Gateway 1960 on behalf of Portman.

“This park will support high-growth users looking to solidify their footprint in Houston or Dallas that also recognize the competitive advantage of efficient regional distribution and fulfillment operations,” said Jon Harmon, Senior Vice President of Development for Portman. “Gateway 1960 will deliver premier facilities in one of the region’s most dynamic industrial corridors.”
