Perot's Hillwood Plans $50M buildout at Target distribution hub

Hillwood is planning major improvements for a massive Target distribution center.The Dallas-based development firm chaired by Ross Perot Jr. is set to spend $50 million on interior improvements for the $1.2 million distribution facility at 5805 South Sam Houston Parkway East, according to state filing records. The project will convert the distribution space into a "new function" to operate as a warehouse, the records state.
The facility, designed by Powers Brown Architecture, was one of the Bayou City's largest industrial project completed last year.
