Logistics Property Company Breaks Ground on Beltsville Logistics Center

"Logistics Property Company, LLC (LogiPropCo), a logistics real estate owner, developer, and manager, held a groundbreaking event to celebrate the commencement of its first development in the Washington, D.C. market. The event included speakers from Logistics Property Company, Prince George’s Chamber of Commerce, and Prince George’s County Economic Development Corporation
The two-building, 270,000-square-foot development is strategically positioned alongside MD-200 with immediate access to I-95. The location offers ease of access to major hubs including the Washington, D.C. line, the Port of Baltimore, and Baltimore/Washington International Airport. Building 1 will total 147,358 square feet and Building 2 will total 122,606 square feet. Both buildings will feature 32’ clear heights, with ample dock doors and auto parking spaces, and are targeting LEED certification.
The general contractor is FCL Builders, Powers Brown Architecture is the architect, LJB Engineering is the structural engineer, and Salas O’Brien is the MEP engineer. “FCL Builders is honored to help bring this new facility to life, said Ken Kolb, Associate Vice President at FCL.
