Landscape Ontario breaks ground on major new north Halton training facility

Landscape Ontario (LO) has officially broken ground on a new training facility it hopes will become one of the most prestigious in the landscaping industry across North America.

The non-profit held a ground breaking ceremony for the future building on Wednesday (Oct. 15) along the Halton Hills/Milton border. They were joined by some members of Halton Hills council, construction firm Maple Reinders and Powers Brown Architecture. The two firms have been tapped to build and design the learning centre, respectively

The mammoth 24,000-square-foot building’s design aims to meet a myriad of needs. In order to accommodate these, the northern portion of the current facility will be demolished.
