The groundbreaking ceremony of Thompson San Antonio and The Arts Residences took place on Tuesday at the project site in San Antonio.
Thompson San Antonio and The Arts Residences will be a mixed-use development featuring a high-rise tower and hotel with 162 guest rooms and 58 residences with luxury amenities.
The groundbreaking began with the ceremony of shovels, followed by keynote speakers, including the developer, Roberto Contreras CEO of DC Partners; Acho Azuike, COO and Managing Director of DC Partners; Leland Rocchio, President of Jordan Foster’s Commercial Construction Group, the general contractor, among others.
Powers Brown Architecture, an award-winning Houston-based firm, and Guadalajara-based Amass & G were selected to design the property in collaboration with Two Roads Hospitality. The property will feature oversized guest rooms and suites, a full-service spa and fitness centre, an outdoor pool overlooking the River Walk, and a 3,600-square-foot ballroom for luxury meetings and events.
