Remember when The Arts Residences broke a record last summer by being the fastest-selling condominium project in Texas? It’s time to add another accolade to the development’s list, as it has now topped off — or finished its vertical construction — with a little less than a year from its targeted completion date.
But that’s not all. Eager buyers have been scooping up the one-, two-, and three-bedroom condos at an incredible rate, leading The Arts Residences to be 85 percent pre-sold already.
It’s not surprising that people are clamoring to live here, as The Arts Residences will be part of a mixed-use development that also includes Thompson San Antonio, the city’s first location of the hip boutique hotel.
Located at 123 Lexington Ave., the 20-story luxury tower will house 162 hotel rooms, 59 condos, and six penthouses. The hotel rooms take up the first 11 stories of the tower, while the condos occupy the rest of the building. The top penthouse will have two floors and magnificent views of downtown, the nearby Tobin Center for the Performing Arts, and the River Walk.
Residents have their own private lobby and concierge, but can also avail themselves of the hotel’s 24-hour concierge and room service, a lavish spa, a world-class restaurant, pool and cabanas, a state-of-the-art fitness center, rooftop lounge, and more.
Slated for completion in 2020, the development reflects its culturally rich neighborhood with innovative floorplans named for famed artists and composers. Whether living in the Frida, Degas, or Picasso, residents can enjoy soaring, 10-foot ceilings; Italian kitchen and bathroom cabinetry by PEDINI; Thermador kitchen appliances; and rain shower heads.
Designed by Houston-based Powers Brown Architecture, the project is being built by Jordan Foster Construction and has been developed by Houston-based DC Partners. The sale and marketing of the condos is being led by Karla Dupre, sales director for Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty.
